Linen ore shoes by Atelier Inscrire. Calfskin lined upper with woven linen overlay, pointed toe, tonal gauze laces. Crafted with vegetable-tanned leather soles, and stitched with waxed thread. Heels are made of polished wood with a natural rubber cover.

About the Designer

All marks, wrinkles, and variations in color are characteristic of handmade shoes and vegetable tanned leather. Based in Menorca, Spain, Damaris Vrandecic treats the fine materials used in her shoes in a most unorthodox fashion - leather is washed, boiled, wrinkled, and manipulated to create unusual textures. Organic matter is combined with gold, oxidized brass, or silver. Each piece is a unique item or part of a very limited batch, assembled entirely by hand using traditional techniques, and almost always with her signature ribbon laces. True to size.
