Dobby shirt dress by Japanese brand Pas De Calais. A long collared shirt dress made from soft crinkled cotton. Loose and flowy silhouette with dropped shouldes, front button closure, small point collar, symmetrical gathers above the waist, side seam pockets and cuffed sleeves. The fabric is washed, dyed, and then crinkled, thus creating a natural, washed texture that will change and fade over time.

Created in Japan in 1998 by Yukari Suda, Pas de Calais takes both its inspiration and its name from Pas-de-Calais in Northern France, a region known for its artisanal heritage and scenic landscape. The brand develops its own original textiles by combining ancient dying techniques with contemporary tailoring, thus creating a signature style marked by its natural tones and romantic silhouettes.
