Flare sleeve dress by GASA*. An oversized cocoon-shaped dress made of hand dyed smooth cotton. Relaxed, boxy silhouette with dropped shoulders and flared, ruffled sleeves, side seam pockets and beautifully made back yoke with button closure on the collar. Dyed naturally using turmeric dye and black rice dye. Due to the manual dying process, color may be uneven and will change and evolve with time. Measurements: Length 107.5cm, Bust 166cm, Sleeve length 43cm

About the Designer
Based in Tokyo, Japan, GASA * designs their products focusing on the detail, the arrangement of color and their balance. Led by designer Mie Igarashi, GASA * uses the elements and techniques of ethnic costume while incorporating new technology in their designs. By also making their original fabric from natural materials, GASA * creates the total items, from the dress to the accessories, and proposes a singular, meticulously crafted layered look. The brand receives its name from the Spanish word for Gauze, a delicate but strong natural fabric that has many uses. GASA * designs and manufactures their unique clothing in reflection of that.
