Ribbon stand shirt by GASA*. A lightweight buttoned shirt made from a delicate, hand dyed cotton silk blend. Relaxed fit with a wrap ribbon tie, exaggerated front hems, and beautifully detailed cuffs. Dyed naturally using plaster dyeing, black sesame and logwood dyeing. Due to the manual dying process, color may be uneven and will change and evolve with time. About the Designer
Based in Tokyo, Japan, GASA * designs their products focusing on the detail, the arrangement of color and their balance. Led by designer Mie Igarashi, GASA * uses the elements and techniques of ethnic costume while incorporating new technology in their designs. By also making their original fabric from natural materials, GASA * creates the total items, from the dress to the accessories, and proposes a singular, meticulously crafted layered look. The brand receives its name from the Spanish word for Gauze, a delicate but strong natural fabric that has many uses. GASA * designs and manufactures their unique clothing in reflection of that.
