When Life Gives You a Dress…

A few winters ago, I fell in love with a stunning striped wool dress by Alexandr Manami. When it arrived, I realized it was beautiful, yes but also about as practical for Israel as a snow suit.

So, it hung on the rack for years: it survived pandemics, wars, changing staff, and even the launch of our online store. It saw everything except daylight.

Finally, I gave it a makeover. With a little pattern-making magic and skilled sewing, we transformed that stubborn dress into a special limited edition of vests. And because they’re made 100% from that original piece, the fact that they’re fully recycled makes me twice as happy.

The moral of the story? When life gives you an unwearable dress
make vests out of it.
