The Shirt I Always Come Back To
Share
For years I called almost every comfortable cotton shirt a “tricot T-shirt.”
Turns out… I was completely wrong.
What I actually meant was cotton jersey knit, sometimes with a little lycra. Soft, breathable, easy to wear.
But tricot is something entirely different a very specific knit structure made in a completely different way.
(There will not be a knitting masterclass today, don’t worry.)
So why am I suddenly talking about fabric terminology?
Because the Nabily shirt is exactly the shirt that confused me all those years.
In my mind, this slightly thicker cotton knit with the relaxed fit and non clingy feel was the definition of “tricot.” Apparently, it was not.
What it is, however, is a perfect summer shirt.
Nabily is back again this season in the classic shades we always love, together with a few fresh seasonal colors.
Easy, flattering, endlessly wearable.
Honestly one of the hardest working pieces in a summer wardrobe.
