The Bermudas That Changed Everything- Charlie

It all started with a pair of cotton Bermudas I thought would be lovely for warm days and bare legs.
But then I tried them on- and honestly, I was horrified. Pale legs and weary knees? Absolutely not.

So I made two quick decisions:
First, to lengthen the shorts to fall just below the knee.
Second, to finally put the rooftop to good use and give my legs a bit of colour.

Turns out both were brilliant ideas — I now enjoy my morning coffee on the roof each day,
and I think I’ll cope far better with the summer heat this year.
Charlie and I are clearly in a committed relationship.

More importantly, my seamstress and I put a lot of thought into the small details.
You can easily turn up the hem or let it down — and it still sits beautifully. I’m really proud of how they turned out.
And of course, I’ve paired them with the Violet jacket in the same fabric — because I do love a good co-ord.
