Meet the newest summer addition Poppy

So apparently I made myself another summer shirt.

This time from crisp paper cotton with short sleeves that are long enough to cover the arms, although they also look very good folded once or twice if that is your thing.

But the best part is the collar. Round, slightly puffed, and especially beautiful when not ironed because it really shows off the crisp texture of the fabric.

It has already arrived at the boutique and online in three colours. The royal blue is kind of irresistible, and next week two shades of grey will be joining as well.

I of course chose the white one first because clearly I am my mother’s daughter. A good white shirt is still one of life’s greatest pleasures and I refuse to believe there can ever be too many.

It comes in four sizes and I definitely recommend sizing up a little because it works beautifully oversized.
