From canvas to classic: the story of my favorite bag

It all started over a decade ago, when my fabric agent casually waved a piece of beautiful canvas and said, “This would be great for bags.”
I, of course, fell for the fabric first as I usually do and only then figured out what to make of it.
“Fine,” I thought, “we’ll make bags.

Fast forward to today, and this bag hasn’t left my side.
It’s been through a few material makeovers, but it’s still the one I grab for travel (fits everything), shopping (no plastic bags for me), and pretty much everything in between.
My partner stole one for the beach. And another for the supermarket.
Practical? Absolutely. Stylish? Obviously.

Even recently when we had to pack an emergency kit (what we now call a “safe-room bag”) guess who was first in line?
Young was ready.
This year, it comes in two great materials: a waxed cotton that ages like a fine wine (well, a slightly cracked one), and a lovely canvas, just like the one that started it all.

Oh and there’s a cute smaller version too. For when you want all the style, but slightly less stuff.
So I invite you to take a look at the latest Young bags and hopefully you like it too.

Meanwhile
Best
Maya.
