A Long Love Affair with Vests
Share
I have a long standing love affair with vests.
Sadly, it has mostly been a one-sided relationship.
Without going too deep (because, like many of us, I’m not entirely immune to body-image drama), vests and I haven’t always seen eye to eye. For years I’ve been ordering the best vests from the best designers for the shop, admiring them deeply, selling them happily and quietly envying the customers who look amazing in them. I even designed vests myself more than a decade ago. Still… tricky.
This year I decided enough was enough and made a vest for myself.
A vest that’s actually kind. And flattering. And wearable.
So of course it’s oversized, with a hemline that flatters the body instead of slicing it in half or making everything look shorter than it really is.
Meet the result: two new vests now live on the site.
One in a gorgeous wool, the other in the beloved Frank & Liam corduroy.
They’re a limited edition each one cut and sewn individually, one by one, and finished with lots of thoughtful details and hand-finished touches.
You’re officially invited to join the vest celebration.
